About Me

Hi! I'm Shriya and I'm a senior at Langley High School. I've been playing the violin for more than 11 years, and I enjoy sharing my passion for music through violin teaching and breast cancer fundraising. I was part of the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra for three years, and I was the co-concertmaster of the American Youth Concert Orchestra. I also got the chance to play violin for an Indian movie soundtrack and, when I traveled to India, I learned a bit of and got exposure to Indian Carnatic violin. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my family (we recently hiked rim-to-river at the Grand Canyon), reading, listening to pop music, and creative reading. I look forward to meeting you!
